My name is Tracy Harms. I live in Oregon.

I began programming computers about 1974. I have coded and designed to meet a variety of software requirements for business over the years. At present J is the programming language I find most engaging.

My professional programming experience has included BASIC, Fortran, and 4D. Languages I've studied (to some small degree) include APL, C, Forth, Smalltalk, Dylan, Python, and Perl. Languages that tempt me at the moment include Groovy, Haskell, and Joy. My intention, however, is to remain focused on J until I can code in it with a sense of fluency.
