My Favorite Languages
Language	Proficiency
Stata	My preferred language for statistics and econometry.
Python	My preferred language for everything else that does not require high speed.
C	My preferred language when the preceding are too slow.
Java	I keep an eye on this one. Nice for Stata plugins.
Basic	For nostalgia's sake, and for automation.

I am a statistician, currently working in the public health sector, in France.
