TRS-80 BASIC is the collective term for the dialects of BASIC created for the TRS-80 series of computers. The original version that shipped in the Model I ROM, Level I BASIC, was an extension of Tiny BASIC developed internally at Tandy. Later versions – Level II BASIC, TRSDOS Disk BASIC, Level III BASIC, and ColorBASIC – were developed by Microsoft.
