My name is Tracy B. Harms. I live in Oregon.

I began programming computers about 1974. I have coded and designed to meet a variety of software requirements for business over the years, mostly involving relational database systems. At present J is the programming language I find most engaging.

My professional programming experience has included BASIC, Fortran, and 4D. Languages I've studied (to some small degree) include APL, C, Forth, Smalltalk, Dylan, Python, and Perl. Languages that tempt me at the moment include Groovy, Haskell, and Joy. My intention, however, is to remain focused on J until I have used it to accomplish something beyond language-learning exercises.
