The Jaro distance does not include a modifier for the strings starting with the same letters, but the Jaro-Winkler distance does. So if the words start with different letters the metric is the same and if they start with the same letter the metrics are different. |

The Jaro distance does not include a modifier for the strings starting with the same letters, but the Jaro-Winkler distance does.
