::: Tables are an immense subject. Table heuristics can be guaranteed to work properly in some cases and can be guaranteed to fail in other cases. The example that was presented on this page (which had a two cell table without any character position that could be identified as a boundary between the two cells) was a good example of something that would be difficult to generalize robustly. --[[User:Rdm|Rdm]] 14:48, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
