You frequently come into the IRC channel and offer suggestions but then you leave before we have a chance to discuss them with you. If you can't stay in the channel for very long it would be better to make suggestions at [[Rosetta_Code:Village_Pump|the Village Pump]] so that more people have a chance to have a dialogue with you about them or email/user talk pages if you know who you need to talk to. IRC is really for live conversation so if you're not going to stick around it's not really a good avenue. --[[User:Mwn3d|Mwn3d]] ([[User talk:Mwn3d|talk]]) 14:33, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

== Talk page signatures and "lines too long" ==

I came across your comment on the [[Talk:Zebra_puzzle#C.23_lines|Zebra puzzle talk page]] and I just wanted to let you know:

* It's a good idea to sign all your talk page additions by adding '''<nowiki>-- ~~~~</nowiki>''' at the end (when I commented on that page I took the liberty of manually adding a signature to your comment).

* Specifically, when concerned about examples with long lines that should be avoided/re-written you can use [[Template:lines too long]] above the example yourself. In this case I added: <nowiki>{{lines too long|C sharp}}</nowiki>. That way a notice shows up above the example ''and'' a link is added to the appropriate [[:Category:C_sharp_examples_needing_attention|examples needing attention page]].
