The task is currently limited to only reading analog joysticks. If the task was changed to only indicating the direction a joystick was moved in it would allow inclusion of digital joysticks. This task has hardware dependencies, and does not seem to reference any relevant standards. So, the task has implicit dependencies on the operating system (and version) as well as possible dependencies on the specific hardware configuration.
