Please explain the intent and application regarding the betwixtion of the Big O [O(n)] notation in psychological engineering terms without using infinity or infinity -1 as it relates to the infrastructural architecture and roll-out of the next 100 years or, at very least the denominator's place thereof and how this expression relates: '(((128 >> shift) & *buf) >> (7 - shift))'.
