Hi, when you do an edit could you please fill the "Summary:" field accordingly? Because currenlty you leave this field filled with the header of another programming language name which is not relevant. When I see an edit about OCaml, I go to see this edit, but your edits was about "Mathematica". Blue Prawn 17:04, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Don't be too hard on him; it's easy to forget. (It irritates me every time. Just a little irritation, but even so.) It would be nice if in the future it was remembered, at least most of the time… –Donal Fellows 22:31, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Stop deleting other languages' solutions

Please stop deleting other languages' solutions; it's terribly rude and is likely to attract administrative sanction if you keep doing it. –Donal Fellows 17:04, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Some recent changes by Bbsingapore include deleting MATLAB and adding Mathematica; deleting PicoLisp and adding Mathematica; deleting PL/I and adding Mathematica; deleting Mirah and adding Mathematica. Yes, we want more Mathematica examples, but we want to keep the other languages too. When you are editing pages, please be careful to keep any languages that are already inside the edit box. --Kernigh 17:35, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
Plus three more. I've run through his edit history, and I think that's all for now. --Ledrug 17:51, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
It *looks* like he's misusing the local edit links. It's plausible removing the old examples is unintentional. If he keeps it up, I'd probably go with a two-week ban, to get his attention. (Looks like he goes into a flurry of edits every couple weeks, so a ban of only a few days might get missed.) --Michael Mol 18:12, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
i had the same impression. i don't think it is intentional, just a misunderstanding of how the edit link works.--eMBee 15:55, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
It happened again ... --Crazyfirex 20:26, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
That was before these reports, and has already been fixed. --Ledrug 21:02, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Sorry for the damage caused and the time it took me to get how the edit system works. Initially I *did* add a section in above or under a preexisting language but never paid attention to the the summary so got bitten once (by Blue Prawn) I then guessed (wrongly) that next time I should create from scratch a new section with the summary properly filled. I reread again the edit tutorial and still did not get a clear set of instructions (and a list of the consequences of doing wrong :-) the summary is not mentioned for example. Rest assured I will not edit the edit tutorial but I feel it could be improved for wiki beginners like me. I hope, that from now on, I will do correctly.

The batch of 7 additions that went in Dec 27 were mostly correct. Only one of them Singly-linked_list/Element_definition had a problem where it looks like you overwrote the Modula-2 header by mistake. I'll restore it. (The equals need to be on a new line) --Dgamey 13:37, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
