For fun I reworked this to simulate the Cricket World Cup which is going on right now. There is a slightly different setup (7 teams in a group and 2 points for a win) which results in a little under 10.5B possibilities (7 teams means 21 games means 3²¹ outcomes) so it takes a while to run. Hopefully this is right:
