Sort stability: Difference between revisions

Python's in-built [http://docs.python.org/library/functions.html#sorted sorted] function as well as the [http://docs.python.org/library/stdtypes.html#mutable-sequence-types sort method of lists] are guaranteed stable (since version 2.3).
