: It can be a little difficult for newcomers to learn the ropes. I think those particular pages ''are'' useful also, but I ''am'' pretty biased. The front page is locked for editing though, and even if it weren't, those are not infrastructure pages. They are user produced and posted so if the user generating them is no longer able to, they will quickly bitrot. As an aside, another page I find '''exceptionally''' useful is the [[:Special:RecentChanges|Recent changes]] page.
